The Golden Gophers got a career-high 32 points from sophomore guard Carlie Wagner as they topped the Penn State Lady Lions 98-85 Sunday afternoon.
Wagner shot 11-for-20, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range. Jessie Edwards added 22 points and 8 rebounds, while Rachel Banham had 20 points, 8 boards and 5 assists.
It’s the first Big Ten win of the year for Minnesota, who is 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The Gophers’ next game is Thursday at Illinois.
