Fans piled into Target Center to witness the Wolves’ last open scrimmage, which showcased some of the team’s younger players before they opened play in the Las Vegas Summer League.
The Wolves say it will be the first opportunity for fans to try the new ID-based digital ticketing system. Flash Seats is a paperless ticketing system that works securely with a credit card, registered Minnesota drivers’ license or the Flash Seats mobile app.
Concessions and merchandise stands will be open at Target Center.
The Star Tribune notes that – unlike the summer event – the entire Wolves roster will participate in this scrimmage, including stars Kevin Garnett, Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins along with highly touted rookies Karl-Anthony Towns and Tyus Jones.
The scrimmage will mark the tip-off of the Timberwolves Training Camp. Doors open at 6 p.m.
