A busy upcoming schedule could delay Ricky Rubio’s return to the Timberwolves. Beginning Wednesday, the Wolves play four games in seven days with trips to New Orleans, Orlando and Miami. Head coach Rick Adelman and his staff are expected to meet with Rubio soon to devise the best plan going forward.
As for Rubio, Adelman says he wants to play “all the time” and “all the minutes.”
Meanwhile, Derrick Williams is playing virtually zero minutes. The struggling second-year player hasn’t found his rhythm in the NBA yet, but he’s staying as patient as he can until he gets more time.
