Professional athletes aren’t always known for their sense of style, but that probably won’t be said about Timberwolves top draft pick Karl-Anthony Towns.
Not only is the soon-to-be NBA rookie impressing with his basketball skills, but he’s also turning heads off the court for his sense of style.
Towns along with Los Angeles’ D’Angelo Russell and Phoenix’s Devin Booker were recently featured in WWD for their fashion sense.
Towns, who was selected by the Wolves with the first pick in June’s NBA Draft, says he’s always had an eye for fashion.
“There’s a line between crazy and not too crazy and I want to be just enough crazy that it blows peoples’ minds away,” Towns told WWD.
So what does Towns like to wear off the floor?
“Rag & Bone is high up there – their style is tremendous and impeccable. Obviously Nike; I just signed with them and I always loved them growing up,” Towns told the publication. “All Post Game and Young & Reckless for street-wear. Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Burberry do a great job. Five Four is one of my absolute favorites. Hometown Hero Club is big for me, too.”
Towns will have plenty of chances to show off his basketball skills on the floor with the Timberwolves, but he says style is a way to show off your personality without having to say a word.
