Wolves’ Pekovic named Western Conference Player of Week

Nikola Pekovic has been named the NBA’s Western Conference player of the week for April 1-7.

In four games, he averaged 25 points, leading the Wolves to wins over Boston, Milwaukee and Detroit.

He’s the first player to win the weekly honor since Al Jefferson did it in 2009.
