The Star Tribune reports that Kevin Love’s broken hand and Chase Budinger’s surgically repaired knee might be healthy enough for the duo to return in about two weeks.
Love is scheduled to meet with his hand surgeon in New York on March 13. If he’s cleared to play he won’t return right away, but hopes to play in less than three weeks.
The same goes for Budinger, who will talk with his surgeon (Dr. James Andrews) next week with hopes of returning a week or so after that.
Ricky Rubio tweaked his surgically repaired knee in Monday’s loss to Miami, but everything is fine. He tells the Pioneer Press that his knee “feels better than before the injury.”
