Minnesota’s lottery luck didn’t change Tuesday night in New York as they dropped one spot from sixth to seventh.

Minnesota has been in the lottery 19 times and dropped nine times while staying in their pre-draft position 10 times.
This is the eighth time in the past 21 lotteries that the team slotted sixth dropped to seventh.
The only picks the Wolves could’ve had were 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 or 9. Here were their chances at each.

“We’re excited. I think we’re in a great position,” Wolves president and head coach Tom Thibodeau said at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago last weekend, via NBA.com. “There’s gonna be a lot of options. Obviously we want to address our shooting and our defense. Once we know exactly where our pick is, we’ll look at all the options and all the possibilities.”
Two names that have been linked to Minnesota are Florida State’s combo forward Jonathan Isaac and Arizona’s 3-point shooting power forward Lauri Markkanen.
