The Lakers might not ever lose to the Timberwolves again.
LA’s win streak against the Wolves reached 22 games with a 120-117 victory at Target Center Wednesday night.
The beauty of the game was the second half, where the Wolves scored 71 points and the Lakers poured in 70 points. Minnesota took 97 shots in the game — a staggering number.
Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 31 points, but even more impressive was Dwight Howard’s 28 point, 16 rebound, 5 assist and 5 steal game.
Eight different players for the Wolves scored in double-figures. Nikola Pekovic led the way with 19 points and 16 rebounds.
The game ended with an incredible no-call on Ricky Rubio’s three-point try at the buzzer. He wasn’t happy leaving the court.
Rubio: "I don't like to lose. I hate it. Sometimes it's tough when you give everything and something like that happens."
