The Minnesota Timberwolves were dealt a big blow in their Western Conference hopes after throwing away another big lead to lose 109-104 to Golden State.
It spoiled a magnificent performance from Naz Reid, who led the Wolves scoring a career high 30 points as he got the start in place of Rudy Gobert.
Klay Thompson drained a 27-foot three pointer with 2:05 left in the game to give the Warriors a 105-99 lead, their largest of the game.
Chris Finch called a timeout to attempt to stymy an 18-3 run by the Warriors and regroup a Wolves side that twice blew double digit leads Sunday night.
Anthony Edwards came out of the timeout and missed an open three pointer, with the Warriors hanging on to move ahead of the Wolves in the standings.

Anthony Edwards didn’t make his first shot until 5:10 left in the second quarter as he had one of his worst games of the season, scoring just 12 points off 5-19 shooting.
The Wolves continue their West Coast road trip Tuesday night at the Clippers, with tip off set for 9pm.
