The Minnesota Timberwolves will try to end their two-game losing streak Sunday night when they visit the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center. The Associated Press reports San Antonio has won 15 straight home games against Minnesota. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. (CST).
The Wolves have lost eight of the last 12 games after falling to the Hornets, 104-92, in New Orleans on Friday night. The team continues to be plagued with a lineup derailed by injuries and is traveling with only nine healthy players.
Minnesota has also been without coach Rick Adelman because of an undisclosed illness that is keeping his wife hospitalized.
