The Minnesota Wild scored three unanswered goals on Sunday afternoon as they picked up their second consecutive victory over the Arizona Coyotes by a score of 4-1.
After surrendering three goals in the third period on Friday night, the Coyotes came out strong in the first period. Phil Kessel put Arizona on the board with his ninth goal of the season and the Coyotes took their 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
The Wild tied the game in the second period when Mats Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov found Victor Rask for his sixth goal of the season to knot things up at 1-1.

With the game tied in the third period, Kevin Fiala flipped a pass to Nick Bonino for a breakaway goal. With Bonino’s third goal of the season, the Wild had a 2-1 lead.

Later in the third, Kevin Fiala added onto the Wild’s lead with a power play goal to put Minnesota up 3-1.

Joel Eriksson Ek was credited with a goal after being hooked with an empty net and the Wild picked up their seventh straight win at Xcel Energy Center.
The Wild will look to extend the longest home winning streak in the NHL this season when they host Arizona again on Tuesday night.
