The Minnesota Wild tendered qualifying offers to Jared Spurgeon, Carson McMillan, Justin Fontaine, Kyle Medvec and Tyler Cuma on Tuesday, according to the Star Tribune.
Per the report, this means the Wild has retained their rights but still has to re-sign them.
The Pioneer Press reports the Wild did not make qualifying offers to forwards Benn Ferriero and Joel Broda. They acquired Ferriero’s expiring contract and a sixth-round pick from the Rangers for Justin Falk on Sunday.
