The Wild are underway in Philadelphia and have been busy with a flurry of activity throughout the day.
Firstly, Minnesota optioned left wing Erik Haula to Iowa this morning, recalling winger Stephane Veilleux.
Haula, in his first stint with the Wild after spending all of last year with Minnesota’s AHL affiliate in Houston (now the Iowa Wild), picked up two assists in 10 games with Minnesota.
Veilleux has spent much of his career in the Wild organization, and has appeared in 10 games for Minnesota this year.
In other news, goalie Josh Harding could return to the ice Friday in Winnipeg.
Head coach Mike Yeo said they will decide whether Harding will get back to game action after a skate Friday in advance of the game. Harding was placed on injured reserve last week while he adjusts the medication that treats his multiple sclerosis.
Finally, Yeo said just before gametime in Philly that winger Zach Parise would miss the game with a lingering lower-body injury.
