The Minnesota Wild re-signed veteran forward Stephane Veilleux to a two-year contract extension Wednesday.
The deal is worth a reported $1.175 million, according to Michael Russo. It’s a two-way contract, meaning Veilleux will make less if he plays in the AHL.
He played in two playoff games for the Wild last season, but didn’t suit up for any regular season games.
“I am really excited to sign two years with the organization that drafted me,” Veilleux tells Russo. “I am really proud of the hard work and commitment that I have put into my career. The biggest thing is I get to play where my heart is.”
