14 games without star forward Zach Parise was enough. The Minnesota Wild will get Parise back from his foot injury when they host the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks at the Xcel Energy Center Thursday night.
Parise says he's feeling good: we're going to give it a shot tonight. #mnwild

According to Pro Hockey Talk, Parise has excelled against Chicago, scoring in two of three games this season. Minnesota was knocked out of the playoffs by the Blackhawks last season, but Minnesota has won two of three meetings this season.
We’re sure Parise’s hard work and dedication to getting back on the ice has a lot to do with his return, but we also believe him modeling some really sweet Olympic Opening Ceremony uniforms had something to do with it, too. Maybe not, but you can see Parise as a model right here.
Parise said foot is worlds better than his first attempt to return. Also said teaates have given him lots of grief for USA oly warmup gear
