The Minnesota Wild lost to the Blues 3-2 in overtime Saturday night in St. Louis.
Until the extra period, all the scoring took place in the first period. St. Louis scored two quick goals, and the Wild tied it up with two goals of their own late in the frame.
Jason Zucker and Erik Haula scored for the Wild (7-2-2), and goalie Devan Dubnyk made 23 saves.
1. Zucker’s streak keeps going
After the Blues scored two goals early, Jason Zucker put the Wild on the board at 15:14 in the first. It was his seventh straight game with at least one point.

Erik Haula scored his first goal of the season to tie the game at 19:17 of the first.

3. No power in the power plays
The Wild had three power-play opportunities in the second period but couldn’t capitalize. They had a two-man advantage for 1:02, but only managed one shot on goal during that time.
The Blues didn’t do any better, though. Their power-play scoring drought is now at 17 straight.
