Minnesota Wild 5
Calgary Flames 3
The Minnesota Wild moved to 2-0 under interim coach John Torchetti as they beat the Flames 5-3 Wednesday night in Calgary.
1. Wild win consecutive road games
Minnesota hadn’t won two straight games since Dec. 28 and 31 when they beat Detroit and St. Louis. It’s the first time all season the Wild have won consecutive road games, while on the same trip.
Third time this season the Wild have won consecutive road games, but the first time they've won two in a row on the same trip.

2. It’s Pommer time
Jason Pominville has been quiet for the majority of the season, but he came to play at a good time in Calgary. Pominville finished the game with a goal and an assist.
His seventh goal of the season proved to be the difference-maker giving the Wild a two goal lead late in the second.

3. Coyle remains red hot
Charlie Coyle’s empty net goal was his 17th of the season and his seventh in his last 11 games. Zach Parise set it up with a beautiful pass for one of his two assists on the night.
