No All-Stars for the Timberwolves this season, but they will have a trio of youngsters attending All-Star Weekend to play in the Rising Stars Challenge.
Rookie Karl-Anthony Towns and second-year guards Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine will play in the the Friday, Feb. 12 game at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
Towns and LaVine will play for the American team while Wiggins, a native of Toronto, will be a home favorite on the World team.
Wiggins scored 22 points and was named MVP of the 2015 Rising Stars Challenge.
LaVine is also expected to defend his title in the Slam Dunk Contest.
