The Twins finished their road trip on an exclamation point with a 16-7 win over the Los Angeles Angels, slugging eight home runs in the win. It’s the second time this season the Twins have hit eight home runs in a game.
The 2019 @Twins are just the 2nd team in baseball history with two games with at least 8 home runs in the same season.
They join the 2005 Texas Rangers.#MNTwins

Max Kepler, Eddie Rosario, Jorge Polanco and C.J. Cron went yard, with Miguel Sano and Jonathan Schoop each blasting two home runs in the slugfest.
This year’s Twins team is on pace to hit 320 home runs, which would shatter the single-season record of 267 set by the New York Yankees last year.
Seven of the eight home runs went at least 400 feet, which is the first time in the Statcast era a team has ever accomplished such a feat.
Below is a collection of all the home runs.
Fun fact: It's the 7th inning and literally everyone in the ballpark has a home run ball at this point. #MNTwins

In the bottom of the ninth, reliever Austin Adams ran into some trouble, allowing five runs, including a grand slam but Mike Morin closed things out.
With the win over the Angels, the Twins picked up their 17th victory on the road this season, which is the most in the MLB.
