Look who was on the field as the Vikings opened Organized Team Activities.
The Vikings tweeted out this video of Teddy Bridgewater under center at Winter Park Tuesday.
The team also sent the footage to news outlets – take a look below.
Sure this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Bridgewater making throws, as there have been videos of him rehabbing after suffering a gruesome leg injury shortly before the 2016 season began.
Even though you can only take away so much from slow motion video, it’s probably a positive sign that Bridgewater began the team’s voluntary workouts by taking snaps.
Earlier this month at Vikings rookie minicamp, head coach Mike Zimmer said, “I’m probably more optimistic now about him potentially playing than I have been at any point in time. But he still has a long way to go.”
Minnesota elected not to pick up Bridgewater’s fifth-year option for the 2018 season, meaning he’ll become a free agent next offseason.
