Eddie Rosario had a big night at the plate in the Twins’ 8-6 win over the Texas Rangers on Saturday night. Rosario went 4-4 with 4 runs scored and fell just a triple short of the cycle.

Former Twins pitcher Kyle Lohse was on the hill for the Rangers making his first start of the season. The Twins jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the top of second but Texas took the lead back in the bottom of the third.
Minnesota regained the lead in the top of fourth with a Danny Santana double and a home run from Eduardo Nunez. In the top of the seventh, the Twins added a couple insurance runs, doubling up their lead.
Texas sctached across a run in the eighth and ninth innings but Brandon Kintzler held on for the save.
Rick Nolasco picking up the win, tossing 6 innings, allowing 4 runs (3 earned) while scattering 9 hits.
With the win the Twins improve to 31-56 and close out the first half of the season tomorrow afternoon, with first pitch at 2:05.
