Former Vikings defensive lineman Ray Edwards may as well be called “Sugar” Ray Edwards. If you haven’t seen his 49 second technical knockout of Corey Briggs from Friday night then you’re missing out on great fun.
Sarcasm alert: The guy Edwards fought was referred to as a “tomato can” by NBC Sports.
After the fight “Sugar” Ray seemed a little bit annoyed with his trainer, who got a little too excited.
Note how only 30 people of have seen the post-fight interview. Apparently “Sugar” Ray’s promoter isn’t doing as well as he thinks he is.
We can’t wait until February 9. That’s when Edwards fights again. Maybe he’ll fight a sack of potatoes this time.
