Max Kepler hit another home run on Thursday night as the Twins picked up a 10-1 win over the reeling Texas Rangers. Minnesota has won three straight games; five of their last six, and Kepler continues to impress.
In Kepler’s last 25 games, he’s smacked 7 home runs, slugged .583 and has 27 RBI. Despite highly-talked about prospects such as Miguel Sano and Byron Buxton, it’s been Kepler stuffing the stat sheet.
Max Kepler on his 2-run homer in the 8th: "I got a second chance and took advantage of it. I redemptified myself. I made up that word."

Kurt Suzuki and Kennys Vargas also muscled out home runs in the win. Every single starter for the Twins picked up a hit and Minnesota collected 18 hits as a team. Eduardo Nunez, who’s headed to the All Star Game next week, went 3-4 too.
Twins’ starter Tyler Duffey struggled with his command out the gate but settled down pitching 6 innings and striking out 9 batters. It was the third time in the last four games that Twins starters have allowed one run or less.
