Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Cam Ward may have made the save of the year on Tuesday night against the Wild.
After Charlie Coyle threw a puck on net, Jason Pominville was on the doorstep ready to bank it home but Ward somehow snagged the puck out of mid-air.
Pominville couldn’t believe it either, as the forward threw his hands up in complete shock.
Ward has made 524 starts in his 12-year career with the Hurricanes. As a rookie, he helped Carolina hoist the Stanley Cup during the 2005-06 season.
