In his first at-bat since being recalled from Rochester, Byron Buxton parked a baseball to the second deck of Target Field for a 3-run home run.
Buxton was on a power surge in his recent demotion to Rochester with four home runs over his last eight games. He was recalled on Wednesday night after Danny Santana was injured.
The 23-year-old entered play hitting .193 on the season despite being considered a top prospect in all of baseball.
