The Timberwolves ran out of gas down the stretch and came up short against Orlando 97-84 at Target Center Friday night.
It was Orlando’s first road win since Jan. 12, while the Wolves haven’t won at home since March 7.
The Wolves battled back early in the fourth quarter to trim the Magic lead to three at 72-69, but Nikola Vucevic took over during the home stretch and the Magic pulled away.

Tobias Harris added 25 points and 12 boards for Orlando. Elfrid Payton also posted a double-double for the Magic with 10 points and 10 assists.
The Magic punished Minnesota on the boards, outrebounding them 53-30, including a 20-3 advantage on the offensive glass.
The Wolves were also just 1-of-11 from behind the three-point line in the game.
Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with 22 points, while Justin Hamilton had 14 and Chase Budinger was one of three Wolves with 12 points.
The Wolves travel to Sacramento to face the Kings on Tuesday night.
