For the third time in franchise history, the Minnesota Vikings will play a game in London.
The NFL announced the matchups for its 2022 international games Wednesday morning, giving the Vikings and rival New Orleans Saints the stage Week 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, Oct. 2.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 a.m. CT and be televised on NFL Network.
New Orleans is considered the home team, so the Vikings avoid having to play in the Superdome in Louisiana and don’t lose a home game.
The Packers will play the Giants Oct. 9 in London, while the Broncos and Jaguars will play at Wembley Stadium in London on Oct. 30. Meanwhile, the NFL will play a game in Munich, Germany on Nov. 13, and that contest will feature the Buccaneers against the Seahawks.
The first time the Vikings played in London was when they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2013 at Wembley Stadium. Minnesota then beat the Browns in a 2017 game at Twickenham Stadium.
Week 4 in London is going to be special.
Can't wait to see you there.
