The Vikings seem to be taking a special interest in Southern California wide receiver Robert Woods, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The newspaper caught up with Vikings wide receivers coach, George Stewart, who spent time talking with Woods’ parents following USC’s Pro Day on Wednesday.
“We’re very interested in guys who can make plays,” Stewart told the LA Times. “But character first and foremost is what we’re interested in, and Woods has that.”
Gophers fans might remember Woods from the start of the 2011 season. If not, this might job your memory. (Forward the video to the 5:30 mark.)
