The chaos that is NFL free agency continues to unwind on Tuesday, fewer than 24 hours from the official start of the signing period.
The Vikings didn’t disclose terms but did announce that linebacker Audie Cole has re-signed. The Star Tribune says it’s a one-year deal.
Cole says he’s 100 percent recovered from a broken ankle that ended his 2015 season six games early so he should continue to provide “valuable depth” at all three linebacker positions this coming season, Viking Update adds.
Cole is entering his fifth season in the NFL. In 41 career games (7 starts) he’s posted 67 tackles, 1 sack and 7 quarterback hits, the Vikings note.
