Vikings cornerback Jabari Price pleaded guilty this week to a misdemeanor charge of careless driving, stemming from his December arrest on a DWI charge in Minneapolis.
ESPN’s Ben Goessling reports that Price was sentenced to 30 days of electronic home monitoring and will pay a $300 fine. Price’s sentence allows him daily work release to the Vikings’ practice facility.
Price, a seventh-round pick in last year’s draft, was arrested early Dec. 29 along Interstate 35W, following the Vikings’ final home game of the season. He had a blood-alcohol content of .13 percent – over Minnesota’s .08 legal limit.
He was the fifth Vikings player arrested or cited in 2014.

Price’s plea agreement allows him to avoid jail time, but Pro Football Talk notes that he could still be disciplined under the league’s personal conduct policy.
The 22-year-old played in 14 games for the Vikings, as a rookie, last season. Most of his time was on special teams, but he did see 46 defensive snaps.
