Marcus Davenport, Josh Metellus and Byron Murphy Jr. were limited participants in the Vikings’ Thursday practice after not participating Wednesday.
The upgraded statuses goes along with what head coach Kevin O’Connell said Wednesday when he felt “very optimistic” about Metellus and Murphy while saying Davenport will “hopefully progress.”
Garrett Bradbury was limited for a second straight day, providing some hope that he’ll be ready to play after missing the last two games with a back injury.
Lewis Cine did not practice for the second day in a row with a hamstring injury, something the Vikings corrected after omitting him from Wednesday’s report.

Former Vikings Adam Thielen and Xavier Woods did not participate in the Panthers’ Thursday practice, Thielen used a veteran rest day while Woods has a hamstring injury.
Rookie quarterback Bryce Young was a full participant for a second day in a row after missing the Panthers’ Week 3 loss to the Seahawks with an ankle injury.
