As anticipated, the Vikings officially took cornerback Chris Cook off their injured reserved list Saturday after missing eight weeks of the season with a broken arm, the Star Tribune reports.
Also activated was defensive end George Johnson from the team’s practice squad.
The Star Tribune noted that the addition of Johnson may be a signal that defensive end Brian Robison — who sustained a Grade 3 shoulder sprain last week against the Rams — might not be ready to play Sunday against the Texans.
Robinson is currently listed as “questionable” for the game.
The Vikings take on the Texans in Houston Sunday at noon central.
