More than 10 percent of NFL players arrested over the last five years have played for the Minnesota Vikings at the time of their arrest.
Former San Jose Mercury News reporter Michael Rosenberg compiled data that shows 260 NFL players have been arrested in the last 260 weeks, which is exactly five years. The league leader in arrests is the Vikings, with 18 players getting into trouble with the law.

Rosenberg also notes that Minnesota players have been arrested a league-leading 48 times dating back to 2000.

According to the Pioneer Press, the number of Vikings arrested is a bit skewed because Adrian Peterson, Everson Griffen, Chris Cook, Erin Henderson and Jerome Simpson all had multiple arrests.
The most legal team in the league is Houston. The Texans have had just one player arrested the last five years, and according to Pro Football Talk, that player was released within five days of his arrest.
