Marcus Davenport will miss Sunday’s game against the Chargers while Garrett Bradbury is listed as questionable in the final injury report ahead of this weekend’s game.
Davenport missed the season opener against the Buccaneers and was able to play a handful of the plays in the Vikings’ Week 2 loss at Philadelphia. Despite the 10 days off between Weeks 2 and 3, Davenport was unable to participate in practice as his ankle injury continued to hobble him.
Bradbury did not practice Wednesday and was a limited participant Thursday due to a back injury the Vikings center suffered in the opening week of the season.
After appearing as limited participants on the practice reports earlier this week, Christian Darrisaw, Josh Mettellus and Jordan Hicks did not appear on the final injury report, which will come as a huge boost to Kevin O’Connell as the Vikings seek to chalk up their first win.
O’Connell also hasn’t ruled out new free agent guard Dalton Risner making his debut for the Vikings on Sunday, though did say it’s too early for running back Cam Akers.
