There is no doubt about Adam Thielen’s status for the Vikings this Sunday in Los Angeles, as this marks the first time since Week 7 that Thielen isn’t carrying a “questionable” or “out” tag on the injury report.
Minnesota released its final injury report Friday, and Thielen is good to go. The only injuries of note are for running back Alexander Mattison (ankle) and safety Jayron Kearse, both of whom are out; in addition to cornerback Xavier Rhodes (ankle) and wide receiver Bisi Johnson (quad) listed as questionable.

But head coach Mike Zimmer answered “No” when asked Friday if Rhodes will be limited at all Sunday.
With Mattison out, the Vikings will give Mike Boone more reps while Dalvin Cook continues to shoulder the load as the lead back.
Thielen suffered a hamstring injury in Minnesota’s win over the Lions Oct. 20. The injury came on a touchdown reception, which remains the last catch the Detroit Lakes native has made since.
Thielen had six touchdowns through the first seven weeks of the season before getting hurt, so his presence will make a Vikings offense that is clicking through the air all that much more dangerous against a Chargers defense that is fourth in the NFL against the pass (196.6 passing yards per game).
