Will the Allegiant Stadium be U.S. Bank Stadium Mk. 2 come Sunday when the Vikings take on the Raiders?
That’s the prediction from ticket exchange and resale company Vivid Seats, whose “Fan Forecast” currently pegs Vikings fans as taking up 54% of the 65,000-capacity stadium.
It shouldn’t be a surprise if there is a considerable sea of purple at Sunday’s game considering visiting fans have regularly outnumbered home fans at the Allegiant. The Raiders haven’t had much time to build up local support since the 2020 move from Oakland, while a trip to Las Vegas is always in high demand for traveling NFL fans.
Vikings fans historically travel well anyway, and Sunday marks the first time that the Vikings have played in Vegas since the Raiders moved from Oakland.
The potential for a purple wave at the Allegiant even has some traveling fans planning on trying to break out a SKOL chant as the two teams tussle.
If you’re looking to grab some last-minute tickets to the game prepare to shell out. The cheapest currently on Vivid Seats would set you back $197 each even before fees.
There will be no shortage of Vikings-related activities on the Strip this weekend, among them appearances by legendary Vikings QB Tommy Kramer.

There is also a heavy presence from 100.3 KFAN, which will carry the game on radio this Sunday, and whose Power Trip Morning Show emanated live from Vegas on Friday morning.
