Minnesota Vikings safety Andrew Sendejo isn’t hiding his feelings about the NFL’s rule changes that were put in place to make the game safer.
During Friday’s morning walkthrough at the team’s Eagan training camp site, Sendejo wore a backwards hat that said “Make Football Violent Again.” When asked about it later he said he likes it because it fits well and “it’s got a good message,” according to the Pioneer Press.
Later in the day he posted a photo to Twitter, mocking the NFL’s rule change that no longer allows players to initiate contact with their helmet, but instead encourages players to lead with their facemasks.

Sendejo is arguably Minnesota’s biggest hitter in the secondary, and he was suspended one game for a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit on Ravens wide receiver Mike Wallace.
Sendejo has also been on the receiving end of some questionable hits, including one from Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas in last year’s playoff game that knocked Sendejo out cold.
