The Minnesota Twins have scored a season high 11 runs so far tonight in their series-opener with the Philadelphia Phillies.
Several Twins had big nights, including Trevor Plouffe, who helped spark the Twins during the first of two, four-run innings. Plouffe was 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs and his first triple of the season.

Plouffe was far from alone. Brian Dozier is 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored and Kurt Suzuki was 4-for-5 with his fourth home run of the season and a career-high 6 RBIs.
But the Twins pitching wasn’t been able to close the door, and it took a three-run eighth for the Twins to finally put the game away and go on for the 14-10 victory Tuesday night at Target Field.
