How far would you go to retrieve a lost ticket to a Vikings game?
Would you crawl into a sewer to find your ticket? A Green Bay Packers fan did just that after he dropped his ticket into a sewer just outside of Lambeau Field before the Packers-Cowboys game on Sunday.
But there’s more to the story. According to Chris Bucher, who posted the video to YouTube, the guy was pretending to drop his ticket into the sewer, only to actually drop it. The story, as told by Bucher:
“I was at the Packers vs Cowboys game with a group of friends. It was one of my friends’ first Packers game. We were in line waiting to go into the game when we were on top of a sewer. The friend whose first game it was pretends to drop his ticket near the sewer, pretty much taunting the karma Gods. Turns out, he actually loses grip of the ticket and it slowly falls through the sewer and into the sewage.
Without hesitation we open the sewer lid and hops in, he digs his foot at the ticket and grabs it all while a cop watches on. Feared he may be arrested after this, however the cop replied, “275 Packers games and I’ve never seen something like this.”
