Video: Mauer greets World Champion Royals with a home run

Joe Mauer welcomed the Kansas City Royals to Minneapolis on Monday night with a home run early in the game.

Mauer got the Twins on the scoreboard when he blasted a home run in the bottom of the first inning, it was his third home run of the season.

A rain delay and a four run top of the third for the Royals kind of dampened the Twins hopes. The Royals went on to beat the Twins 10-4 Monday night.
