Vikings Coach Leslie Frazier especially highlighted turnovers and penalties on a key late drive that kept the roar alive for the Detroit Lions Sunday at Ford Field.
“We have to figure out how to win on the road,” Frazier said. “We’ll be on the road next week.”
He also addressed the Detroit near-shutdown of Adrian Peterson throughout the course of the game, after the first-play 78-yard touchdown.
“They just did a better job to attacking us off the line of scrimmage,” Frazier added.
He issued faint praise to Christian Ponder and Jerome Simpson, who connected seven times for 140 yards, but ultimately the coach returned to turnovers.
“Turnovers are difficult to overcome.”
