Little Falls native Ben Hanowski, who was skating for the St. Cloud State Huskies in the Frozen Four days ago, had another big hockey thrill last night.
Playing in his first game for the Calgary Flames, he scored his first NHL goal against the Wild:

Hanowski, 22, was traded from Pittsburgh to Calgary as part of the Jarome Iginla trade earlier this month. He was called up to join the Flames after the Frozen Four.
He says the goal was “extremely exciting … obviously.”
