The Minnesota Wild continued their point streak as they whipped the Vancouver Canucks 6-2 at Xcel Energy Center Tuesday night.
1. Thomas Vanek on the attack
Thomas Vanek had his best night in a Wild uniform. He tallied four points – a goal and three assists – as the Wild skated to the victory.

2. Super power play
Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller may have nightmares about the Wild’s power play. Minnesota peppered Miller during their five power play opportunities Tuesday night.
Minnesota netted three power play goals and Miller made some terrific saves to rob a few others.
The Wild finished with 41 shots on goal in the decisive victory.
3. Koivu nets his 150th career goal
One of Vanek’s prettiest assists came on Mikko Koivu’s 150th career goal midway through the second.
