One week after getting swept at home by the Indians, the Twins got revenge by finishing off a three-game sweep in Cleveland with a 4-0 win Sunday afternoon.
The win put the Twins (39-34) back in front in the AL Central, a half-game lead over Cleveland (39-35).
Ervin Santana improved to 10-4 on the mound and lowered his ERA to 2.80 with six shutout innings. He gave up 9 hits and struck out 7.
Offensively, Jason Castro had a pair of hits and 2 RBI and Eddie Rosario homered and scored three times on a 3-for-4 day at the plate.
Up next, Jose Berrios starts at Fenway Park as the Twins start a four-game series with the Red Sox on Monday.
