Paul Molitor is getting the credit he deserves.

Molitor guided the Twins to the postseason in 2017 – and it was their first playoff appearance in seven years. It was quite the turnaround considering the club lost over 100 games in 2016.
The Minnesota native signed a three-year contract extension last month. Molitor has compiled a record of 227-259 in his three seasons as manager.
Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch and Cleveland Indians skipper Terry Francona are also up for the award.
