The Minnesota Twins have trimmed their roster to 28, with the latest cut being relief pitcher Alex Burnett, who was sent to Triple-A Rochester this morning, according to the Pioneer Press.
Burnett had a 7.56 ERA in seven spring training appearances this year in Florida’s Grapefruit League.
Last year with the Twins, he appeared in 67 games, and posted a 3.52 ERA.
