Minnesota Twins pitcher Carl Pavano is returning to Minneapolis Sunday to meet with the team’s physician, and then will have an MRI exam done on his sore right shoulder Monday. Pavano gave up seven runs and nine hits in 3 2-3 innings against the Cleveland Indians Friday. Pavano’s MRI on May 11 revealed a strain in the front of his right shoulder.
