The Minnesota Twins rallied for three runs in the top of the eighth inning to beat the Baltimore Orioles 4-3 Friday night in Baltimore.
Minnesota has won all five of their games against the Orioles so far this season.
Twins starter Tommy Milone was strong through five innings, but ran into trouble in the sixth. Milone gave up three runs on five hits, while striking out four.
He went into the sixth inning having retired 13 straight Orioles hitters. But in the sixth, Nolan Reimold led the inning off with a single, and Manny Machado followed putting runners at the corners. Gerardo Parra then followed with a three-run homer to give the Orioles the lead.
But it wouldn’t stand up.
Minnesota didn’t hit the ball hard in the eighth but found the openings as Miguel Sano and Kurt Suzuki blooped in hits to take the lead.

Casey Fien (3-5) pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the victory. Trevor May threw a perfect eighth inning, and Kevin Jepsen struck out the side in the ninth for his first save in a Twins uniform.

Sano finished 2-for-4 with a pair of hustle doubles and scored two runs. Suzuki was also 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Byron Buxton was 2-for-5 for the Twins as well.
The victory pulls the Twins back to .500 at 61-61.
Kyle Gibson (8-9) takes the mound for the Twins on Saturday against Orioles right-hander Chris Tillman (9-7).
