Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks has landed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring, according to a tweet from communications director Dustin Morse:
The @Twins place Aaron Hicks on the DL (left hamstring strain), will recall Oswaldo Arcia tomorrow. #MNTwins

Hicks was apparently hurt while running out a ground ball during last night’s 5-4 loss to the Washington Nationals. He trotted out to his position in the bottom half of the inning, but was replaced by Clete Thomas after play was halted during a 12-minute rain delay.
While Thomas may get a chance to play center field, Oswaldo Arcia will take Hicks’ roster spot for now. In 30 games with the Twins earlier this year, Arcia hit .255 with four home runs and 14 runs batted in.
