The Twins pulled off a dramatic 7-5 win against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night after initially blowing a three-run lead.
Trailing 5-4 with two outs in the bottom of the eighth and the elite Josh Hader on the mound, Marwin Gonzalez delivered a three-run home run on the first pitch to put his team back in front.

Minnesota also retook first place in the Central Division as the Cleveland Indians – who erased a five-run deficit to force extra innings – fell to the Boston Red Sox 7-6 in 10 innings.
Minnesota got on the board first in the third inning when Mitch Garver connected on a two-run homer for his 22nd long ball of the season.

Luis Arraez was also able to add an insurance run in the inning to give Minnesota a 3-0 lead.
Despite allowing his fair share of baserunners, Martin Perez was able to pitch around plenty of traffic. In his six innings of work, Perez allowed six hits, one run (unearned), four walks and three strikeouts.
Perez was removed from the game in the seventh inning when Ehire Adrianza pinch-hit for his spot in the batting order and delivered a clutch RBI double, giving Minnesota a 4-1 lead.
However, in the next half inning, Ryne Harper surrendered three hits, four earned runs, including a three-run home run to Yasmani Grandal while not recording a single out.
Luckily, Tyler Duffey and recently activated Sam Dyson held the Brewers in check, with Sergio Romo picking up the save.
With the win, the Twins improve to 72-47 on the season and will finish their series with Milwaukee Wednesday afternoon. First pitch from Miller Park is at 1:10 p.m. and Kyle Gibson starts for the Twins.
